The Brief

Arts Council England were seeking a full-service creative agency to develop a comprehensive branding and identity package for a new programme launching early 2025. The new programme, titled the Cultural Education Network offers mentoring and professional development for teachers and cultural educators across England.

The Process

When the project started back in late 2024, the Cultural Education Network (CEN) team was comprised of only two people, meaning it was essential for us to hold several workshops to gain insight and feedback throughout the entire process. As we welcomed new team members, it was vital they could travel back and experience the journey to date to understand progress made. After delivering our initial concepts on both Tone of Voice (TOV) and brand identity, we held a number of audience workshops to gain feedback from teachers and educators, ensuring the entire process was co-created.

The Results

A fun, vibrant and exciting new brand with bespoke illustration and iconography. With a bold identity, the Cultural Education Network uses colours and typography to connect CEN to all the ACE CYP sub-brands, creating a fluid and flexible brand that can be adaptable to the growing needs of the CEN and its audience.
